Pre-Qualifying results show the winning competitors who have sent their works to Turkey in the song, poetry, special talent, essay, presentation, painting, folk dance, and Mother Tongue (Turkish) categories and who have been selected to participate in the finals to be held in Turkey.
You can upload your pre-qualifying videos to the ftp address: ftp://212.175.211.145/ or upload to www.rapidshare.com address as a winrar file. The passwords for FTP site will be sent to the team representatives via e-mail.
You can register for the International Turkish Olympiads from the web adress www.turkceolimpiyatlari.org. The time for registration will be announced from the web site.
The International Turkish Olympiads will be held between 15-30 June 2001. Entrance to the facilities will start at 10:00 AM. The Culture Festival will be held in Ankara Altınpark between 18-19 June. Information about other contests will be announced to the participants later.
There are three contest categories: Foreign Language Turkish Contests, Mother Tongue Turkish Contests, and Contests for Teachers. Students who learn Turkish as a foreign language can participate in the Foreign Language Turkish Contests; students who have been abroad for the last five years and whose first language is Turkish can participate in the Mother Tongue Turkish Contests. Contests for Teachers are organized for Turkish Language teachers.
Yes, he/she can. Only one student from each country can participate in the scientific contests (speaking, writing, and grammar). Students who participate in song and poetry contests can also take part in speaking, writing, and grammar contests.
The Turkish students studying abroad can participate in the Essay, General Knowledge, and Poetry categories in the Mother Tongue Turkish Contests. In order to participate in the Mother Tongue Turkish Contests, students should have spent at least the last 5 years abroad.
The subject of Test Contest is: “Introduce one of the historical figure of your country in one of the following areas: Literature, Art, Culture, or History.
Ten (10) students should take role in Folk Dance groups.
The pictures sent to the contest committee should be the size of 35×50. The pictures should be in JPEG format scanned with 200dpi.

The songs in Song Category are in Turkish Language while the songs in Sound Category are in the students’ mother language.
Students participating in “Foreign Language Turkish Contest” are divided into 6 groups according to their language and regional characteristics. The mother tongue of the students are taken into consideration.
All the participants should pay their own travel costs. The other costs (like accommodation, trip, in Turkey) are all paid by TÜRKÇEDER.
You can enter to the Kızılcahamam Asya Fin thermal holiday village on 15th of June. The entrences before that date is not paid by the Organization Committee.
There wil be shuttles from Ankara AŞTİ bus terminal and Esenboğa Airport to Kızılcahamam. When you come to one of these points, you may call the transportation manager to get help. The phone numbers of the transportation managers will be sent to the team representatives via e-mail.
If the team is consisted of only girls or boys with a maximum number of 7, then only one teacher (team representative) can guide them. ıf the number of students is more than 7, then 2 teachers (team representatives) can guide the group.
Yes, each country has to participate in the Country Presentation Contests.

Yes, there is. Students who participate in Reading, General Knowledge, and Sound contests can have money prize even though they have it in other contests.
Speaking contest has two stages. The first one is testing. %40 of the students are eliminated after this stage. The second stage is interview. The results are calculated by taking the mean of the two stages into consideration. Writing, Grammar, and Essay contests have 2 stages in one session. General Knowledge and Reading contests have one stage.
All students who have gained the right to come to Turkey can participate in those contests.
